2026 AIR Taipei Open Call

Artist-in-Residence (AIR) Taipei is operated by the Taipei∣Treasure Hill Artist Village. The program aligns with international artist-in-residence sites, provides artists from both Taiwan and abroad with residence opportunities and forms an open platform that also acts as a web of solid, international connections, drawing in diverse communities in various disciplines to exchange and broaden each other’s perspectives. How to Apply: (1)Applications are only accepted online. Applicants should visit the 2026 AIR OPEN CALL website to fill out the application form and complete the online application before 11:59:59 AM Taipei time on Monday, June 30, 2025 (the system will close at 12:00:00 PM on the same day). Failure to complete the online application by the specified deadline will be considered overdue and will not be processed. (2)Applicants can only choose one type of residency to apply for; multiple applications are not permitted. (3)For the “International Residency,” applicants must provide a resume and residency plan in either English or Chinese. Applicants for the “Domestic Residency” only need to provide a resume and residency plan in Chinese. Group applicants should apply under the group’s name and upload one document (a PDF file of no more than 6 pages) that includes the names (the primary and secondary representatives of the group must be explicitly indicated), resumes, nationalities, and collaboration or exhibition experience of each member to the application form. (4)The “Overseas Residency Visit” only accepts individual applications. Applicants must provide resumes and residency plans in both English and Chinese, along with application materials. Failure to provide complete information in both languages will be considered incomplete. Applicants must choose one international residency institution to apply to, as outlined in Appendix A, without submitting multiple applications. Farm Studio International Artist Residency 2026

Farm Studio International Artist Residency is located in a rural community in India. Residents stay and create in a quiet art centre and beautiful environment where they can develop their artwork free from accustomed distractions. Here, collaboration and experimentation is encouraged. Relationships form between the artists coming from different countries and varied social, cultural, and artistic backgrounds. Many exciting exchanges and dialogues among artists take place, including scheduled artist talks, presentations, works in progress showings, etc. Farm Studio also promotes and celebrates the local community’s artistic and cultural identity while also introducing art and culture of others’ (Indian and International guests) back to the community. This intercultural exchange broadens everyone’s experiences and fosters art appreciation. Farm Studio International Artist Residency has accommodations available for 3-6 residents at one time. Farm Studio residency provides three types of working spaces where artists can explore their art and ideas in the rural Rajasthani environment; at the Farm Studio indoor studios, the outdoor desert and farm environments, and in Hinge Arts Space in Andore Village. Artists bring their own art materials, and basic tools are available at Farm Studio. Artists stay in individual huts or in individual rooms. Each room has a bed and bedding for all weather conditions. Huts and rooms are equipped with a table, stool/chair and a light. Shared (private) bathroom facilities.

Fall into Focus residency program in Finland, Fall 2025

◆Focus on your writing, creative practice and research The autumn residency period at Arteles Creative Center provides writers and artists with the optimal conditions for sustained concentration. The program offers flexible time and space to freely develop creative projects without external or outcome pressure. Residents also have the option to refine and improve their focus through daily scheduled meditation sessions. Periods of deep focus can be balanced with walks in pure Nordic nature, relaxation in traditional Finnish sauna, and time around the bonfire with a supportive community of peers. All participation in group activities is voluntary. ◆Nordic autumn, darkness & sauna Arteles Creative Center is located in a countryside region of Western Finland, far from the distractions and stimuli of city life. The residency is surrounded by forests, fields, and lakes which are all available for exploration. The autumn season in Finland begins with September’s vibrant leaves and cooling temperatures, while October features a noticeable decrease in daylight as leaves fall. November welcomes the deep darkness and stillness of impending winter. ARCUS PROJECT 2025 ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM

ARCUS Project’s Artist-in-residence program is dedicated to supporting artists engaged in creative activities worldwide by providing time, space, and a contemplative environment for in-depth fieldwork and research. Through financial and practical support, the residency program offers from its dedicated staff members of directors and regular tutorials with a curator, artists can explore approaches in their practices and undertake new challenges in their artistic expression. This program particularly emphasizes research-based practices and presents the initial results of these processes at open studios. We welcome ideas for projects that develop out of encounters with people, the land, and culture, and aspire to form critical discourse that are open and international.
