Open calls for 2025 Lize Puppet Art Colony Artist-in-Residence Program "Lize Puppet Art Colony" is a creative platform dedicated to the development of puppetry. Since 2017, the colony has been promoting the "Artist-in-Residence Program" aimed at providing artists with comprehensive creative spaces and interactive platforms for exchange. Each year, the program invites artists from both domestic and international backgrounds to come to the Lize settlement, stimulating imagination and creativity through experiencing the ambience of community life. The program has facilitated artists in presenting new works and engaging in interactive exchanges, achieving remarkable results with enthusiastic responses. The Lize Puppet Arts Colony is thrilled to announce the theme for the Artist in Residence program in 2025, “Strings Unbound”. This curatorial brief invites artists from diverse backgrounds to explore the transformative power of puppetry as a means of rediscovery, reengagement, and recreation.
