The 2027 Spring Residency Program welcomes artists and creative practitioners working across diverse disciplines, media, and forms of practice. Applications are encouraged from those working with any artistic medium or format, as well as practitioners whose work incorporates action-based, research-driven, interdisciplinary, or cross-disciplinary approaches.
We invite residents to build upon their existing artistic practices while engaging deeply with the local environment, memories, and cultural contexts. Through their residency, artists are encouraged to explore the diverse relationships between art, nature, local narratives, and communities. Through creation, everyday life, and exchange, we hope residents will further develop their individual practices while bringing new perspectives, stories, and creative energy to GVAV and its surrounding communities.
