Drawing on the distinctive cultural landscape and geographical context of Zhongxing New Village, the Craft Village is envisioned as a dynamic hub for talent development, creative practice and presentation, industry development, and international exchange. It aims to provide an important platform where craft creators from Taiwan and abroad can live, create, connect, and exchange ideas.
Craft creators from around the world are warmly invited to become part of the Craft Village. Rooted in the local culture, landscape, and way of life, yet guided by an open and international perspective, the residency invites you to bring your ideas and inspiration into meaningful dialogue with this place, weaving together exceptional craft practices that transcend geographical and cultural boundaries.

| Funding | The maximum total funding provided per person (or team) is NT$620,000 (inclusive of living expenses, production fees, and other costs). Detailed payment terms and conditions are subject to the selection guidelines. |
| Provided by Host | 1. Free use of a two-story residency space at the Craft Village. 2. Basic furniture and appliances are provided free of charge. 3. Water and electricity are provided free of charge during the residency. 4. International residents will receive one round-trip economy-class ticket between their place of residence and Taiwan. |

| Selection Procedure | 1. Preliminary Review:Applications will undergo a preliminary review. Only shortlisted applicants will proceed to the final review. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified. 2. Final Review : A 5–7-member committee of experts appointed by NTCRI will conduct the review fairly and impartially. The review meeting will not be open to the public to protect applicants’ privacy. 3. Selection Results (1) The results will be announced on the NTCRI website. Selected applicants will also be notified individually by official letter and email. (2) Selected individuals or teams must sign the “2026 Zhongxing International Craft Village Residency Program Agreement” within the specified period. Failure to do so will be deemed a withdrawal, and the vacancy will be filled from the waiting list. Overseas applicants may sign separately. |
