We understand that being an artist is a chaotic, unpredictable path full of questions. And that’s why we’re here! Each of our programs is designed based on the specific needs of our residents. Our main goal is to provide a friendly, collaborative and supportive environment for artists to explore their creativity among peers. At Residencia Corazón you’ll find: A community of creatives with similar interests, artists with a long career and great experience.A space to breathe, think and create without interruptions or constraints.A bridge to the vibrant culture of La Plata, and its local art scene.Personalized, honest, practical and professional support from an experienced team passionate about helping you grow, whether it's organizing your exhibition, providing resources and connections, or providing feedback on your project.

| Funding | Although we are currently unable to offer financial support, we do offer official documentation or invitation letters for artists applying for scholarships or grants in their home country. Residencia Corazón has the institutional support of the National Ministry of Culture, the Cultural Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires, the Municipality of La Plata and the National University of La Plata (UNLP). |
| Provided by Host | House fully equipped with all the necessities and comforts for the artist. Single accommodation in a private room. Access to studio 24 hrs/Solo exhibition with a catalogue. Assistance in the assembly and disassembly of the show, artist talk (Optional), work with a curator of the residency team. Assistance in navigating the city and its surrounds, finding local resources & materials. Contact with colleagues. Information about daily life as well as the local arts scene. Diffusion of the artist's project-solo exhibition in the Argentinean media and social networks. Assistance with research, production, and post-production of work. |
| Costs | Airfares, transport, visas, transfers/Materials/General living costs such as food, health, and travel insurance. A fee from USD $ 700 (Program 3 for writers, curators) to USD 1500 (Program 1 with exhibition at the end). |
