Tainan is also home to numerous art spaces, artists, and curators, offering many opportunities for exchange and collaboration. We hope that visiting artists will find inspiration in the community and the dynamic local culture.
The Absolute Space Artist-in-Residence Program aims to provide professional artists with a dedicated creative environment. Through workshops and exhibitions, we seek to foster dialogue between domestic and international artists, discover outstanding talents, and nurture an audience for the arts in Tainan.
Artists, curators, and art critics/writers who wish to come to Tainan for residency are all welcome!

◉ Residency Space, Duration, and Rent
1. Two-Week Rental（Only available at the Sanho Art Lab）
Sanho Art Lab: On the second floor, applicants may choose to rent a room only, a studio only, or both a room and studio together. On the third floor, applicants must rent both the room and studio together.

Absolute Space x Residency: Room rental includes the studio.
【Additional Notes】
(1) At Absolute Space x Residency, the King room contains two double beds, while the Queen and Prince rooms each have one double bed.
(2) At the Sanho Art Lab, the third floor requires renting both the accommodation and the studio together. The room size is 12 m², and the studio is 22.7 m².

The studio provides internet access, work desks and chairs, as well as basic tools (such as electric drills, screwdrivers, hammers, saws, a bench drill, a scroll saw, an air compressor, and a nail gun.) Participants are required to bring or prepare their own tools, equipment, computers, and software needed for their creative work. Please note that the studios are not equipped with professional facilities such as workshops, photo studios, or editing rooms, and cannot provide DSLR cameras, video cameras, or tripods.

Bedroom Area: Located on the second floor with a private restroom; shower facilities are on the first floor of the residency space.
Amenities: The accommodation is equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, towels, change of bed linens, clothes hangers, kitchen, oven, refrigerator, microwave, glass-ceramic stove, washing machine, and other basic facilities.
Complimentary bicycle rental is available.
‣ ‣ Lab 2｜Absolute Space x Residency
Suite space: A private suite equipped with a bathroom.
Amenities: The accommodation includes air conditioning, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, towels, change of bed linens, clothes hangers, kitchen, oven, refrigerator, microwave, induction stove, water dispenser, washing machine, dryer, and other basic facilities.
Complimentary bicycle rental is available.
◉ Exhibition Venue Rental
Location: Sanho Art Lab, 1F Exhibition Space (No. 14, Sanhe Street, South District, Tainan City)
Fee: USD$850/month；USD$250/week
Description: The fee includes venue rental, utilities (water and electricity), and internet charges.
Please note: The fee does not include costs for exhibition attendants or assistants, but the organization can assist in finding help if needed.
