KIo-A-Thau Artist Village | The Boundary of Old Towns
2026/11/03
Date: 2026-11-07~2026-12-13
Venue: KIo-A-Thau Artist Village, Bywood
In the 1990s, Qiaotou Sugar Refinery and its surrounding areas were incorporated into the Kaohsiung New Town development plan.
Large-scale development transformed the fabric of the land and the urban landscape. What might this place look like in the future?
From past to present, and from present to future, Qiaotou has been shaped by countless intersecting boundaries. Four artists will transform these invisible boundaries into works of art.
The artworks are located across Bywood, the sugar refinery, and areas surrounding Dianbao Creek.
The opening event will begin with a brief introduction to the exhibition at Bywood, followed by a bicycle tour of the exhibition sites.
If you would like to attend, please complete the opening event registration form. We will arrange a bicycle rental for you free of charge, so we can set off together to explore the “boundaries of art.”
