The prevailing fixation in the art world on industrial-like artworks has resulted in an overwhelming focus on precise objects inundating galleries and art fairs. This relentless pressure on artists to use increasingly valuable materials has exacerbated the issue of the system's entropy. Instead of perpetuating this cycle, I unequivocally concentrate on reinterpreting existing objects. I integrate frequently abandoned and overlooked items from our daily lives - neglected and unappreciated trash - as a fundamental component of my work. These items symbolize the consumption they represent.

I gathered materials for an exhibition at the beach, and it was intriguing to observe how both people and the sea rejected them. It prompted me to contemplate how frequently we treat the Earth's waters as a dumping ground. When we discard an object into a river, it seemingly disappears from our view forever. It flows into the sea, which, like a liminal space that we traverse but do not inhabit, remains beyond human responsibility.

I boldly underscore the significance of collected human-made waste by utilizing the silver leaf technique. This technique preserves the physical materiality of the items while visually transforming them into symbolic representations. By recontextualizing these objects, their status is elevated from clutter to distinguished exhibits. The adopted strategy aims to infuse waste existence into the consciousness of society. This shift introduces a concept where human beings are not perceived as the sole vital components of human existence but as individuals coexisting with numerous non-human actants.
