Ting Kuan-Yun Solo Exhibition: Fun With Object

🪡ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ting Kuan-Yun graduated from the Fiber Arts Department of Tainan National University of the Arts and is currently an artist and independent studio creator.She has long used textile craftsmanship as the foundation of his creations, using soft materials to express the variations and translations of everyday objects, developing three-dimensional sculptures that combine hand drawing, computer graphics, and embroidery. Gradually incorporating abstract thinking, her works present different levels of visual contemplation.

🪡EXHIBITION INTRODUCTION
Solo exhibition "Fun With Object" observes the growth process of a young boy from a mother's perspective, exploring the universe of life freely through understanding the world via "objects". It starts with touching objects in life, distinguishing the differences in softness and hardness, and the collision sounds between objects. Then, the power of language is introduced, shallowly getting to know animals from storybooks, stepping out of the house and into nature, connecting the growing cognitive abilities. Combining experiential activities, the boy reorganizes a fantasy world after exploration, discovering more fun games with objects, and seeing the self evolve in the process.
