Artist-in-Residence / Research Program at Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts (hereafter KdMoFA) provides artists and curators with opportunities for on-site creation and research. The program aims to foster exchange and interaction between domestic and international artists, university faculty and students, the museum, and the general audience. Through this initiative, KdMoFA serves as a platform for artistic exchange, facilitating dynamic dialogue among artists, curators, and visitors. Furthermore, it offers a rare opportunity for university faculty and students to observe and learn, creating a win-win situation for both resource sharing and participant engagement. We provide fully equipped creative studios and working platforms, backed by a strong and dedicated professional team supporting artists and curators.
Since 2007, KdMoFA has welcomed visual artists and curators from various countries. Through a series of public events hosted by the museum—such as "Artist Talks," "Artist Workshops," and "Residency Exhibitions"—participants showcase the work created during their residency, further enhancing community engagement and mutual learning opportunities between faculty and students.
