All arts participants receive a scholarship covering 100% of tuition and 25% of meal plan and accommodation costs. Canadian Indigenous Scholarship: Canadian Indigenous applicants receive support covering 100% of tuition, meal plan, and accommodation costs. |

The organizer provides a three-week residency environment, a meal plan equivalent to CAD 68 credit per day, a single bedroom for the duration of the program, specialized studio space, opportunities to showcase work-in-progress, group seminars/workshops, access to campus facilities, recordings of public performances, and limited demo recording sessions. |
| Costs |
General participants pay CAD 2,761.76 per person after scholarship. The application fee is CAD 65 for individuals or groups, and CAD 35 for applicants who identify as Indigenous. For accepted group applications, an additional CAD 35 registration fee will be added for each member. International accepted participants are responsible for identifying and complying with Canadian visitor entry requirements; if a visa is required, they must obtain a Visitor Visa. |
| How to Apply |
Apply online. The application steps are: complete the online form, pay the application fee, and upload materials through SlideRoom. Required materials include a resume or CV of up to two pages, a one-page cover letter, and a portfolio. Applicants may optionally submit a 500-word project proposal if they have a project they would like to develop during the program. A technical questionnaire is also required to outline studio, equipment, software, facility, or staff support needs. |
| Selection Procedure |
Participants are selected by an adjudication panel composed of internal and external assessors. Selection criteria include quality, originality and artistic merit; required skills and experience; the potential for the applicant’s work to benefit from the program; and Banff Centre’s ability to support the project. |
