Grand View International Artist Village
|
Continuing the concept of coexisting with ecological land and sustainable development, we provide a creative setting that blends the natural environment with the rhythm of daily life. We invite artists engaged in painting, sculpture, video, performance, installation, and other forms of artistic practice, as well as applicants proposing interdisciplinary art projects oriented toward craft, writing, action, or research, to explore together through diverse media the symbiotic relationship among art, environment, culture, and community. We hope that residents will delve into the local area through their research journeys, interact and engage in dialogue with residents, travelers, and local culture, and incorporate the memory of the land and the pulse of its human landscape into their creations, bringing new stories and energy to the art village and the community.
In addition, as the site continues to be completed, newly added facilities will gradually be opened this year as well, including cabin studios, the lakeside teahouse stove kitchen, and the Olive Tree Theater platform. These spaces, including semi-outdoor and greenery-surrounded creative environments, offer sources of inspiration for artistic creation. Residents will be able to share a village-style living space, further expanding the possibilities for exchange, research, and dialogue through presentations and performances.
