SOON Artists in Residency Program Website
The program offers selected artists a live/work space above the gallery in Vienna, supporting the development of their practice in a focused and supportive environment. Each residency culminates in an exhibition at SOON Gallery featuring work created during the stay, and artists may also engage with the local art community through workshops, talks, and other events. The program is intended for emerging artists, mid-career artists, international artists, multidisciplinary practitioners, research-based artists, and collaborative duos or small collectives.
Duration Flexible durations of 2, 3, or 4 weeks, with the possibility of a longer stay.
Provided by Host The host provides a live/work space above the gallery, opportunities to connect with Vienna’s local and international art community, possible workshops and artist talks, an exhibition opportunity at the end of the residency, and feedback/support from peers and mentors.
Costs Artists are expected to pay the residency fee.
