In 2025, we embrace the theme "Origins" — welcoming artists to explore works still in their experimental and evolving stages. Art is not about reaching a final conclusion; it is about capturing the echoes of society’s living pulse.
At the Ciaotou Sugar Refinery, let us return to where it all begins — or boldly carve out a brand new starting point.

| Funding | a. Selected artists have free dormitory provided by this project organizers, NT$ 24,000 each month for production costs. b. For foreign country artists, NT$ 30,000 each for flights costs. |
| How to Apply | Please download the document "2025 KAT Program Application", fill it out, and send it to "bywood999@gmail.com" during the application period. |
| Selection Procedure | 4 (individual artists/groups) for individual applied. I. Visions of artistic creation (40%) II. Capability of execution (40%) III. Status of implementation of feedback programs (20%) Evaluation Team: The organizers will recruit 3-5 experts, scholars and artists to form a temporary committee to do the screening. |
| Expected Outcome | a. Resident at least four days a week, and regularly participate in the artist-in-residence meeting to promote interaction of artists. b. Present your achievements while at the village, and donate one representative piece of artwork to Kio-A-Thau collection. c. Hold an art lecture or a workshop to promote culture and art education for community art interaction. |
