Art Junction provides an open platform where creativity can unfold free from accustomed distractions. A unique atmosphere of an entirely new environment, developing interrelationships among artists from different geographical locations having varied social, religious and cultural perspectives, foster collaboration, encourage experimentation, exchanges and dialogues among practicing and emerging artists.

The story of Art Junction residency begins with a dream of artist Dr. Chiman Dangi. Art residency in the village was his dream for many years. To raise awareness of rural art and culture that is being lost in a globalized world, to bring a positive changes between the global and the local culture, and to promote these community art forms in the new directions. Even today the Tribal village has many objects on which contemporary artists and traditional artists can work in collaboration, giving new life into contemporary art.
Duration 2 weeks to 3 months from September 2024 to March 2025.

-2 Meals, (vegetarian) if sometimes artists want can prepare their own meals (veggie or non-veg)

-Basic tools (hand grinder machine for wood/stone, hand cutter machine, welding machine, drill machine)

Accommodation: We offer accommodation for singles/sharing and couples in our comfortable cottages with en-suite bathroom and hot shower, garden, roof top terrace, bed sheet service is included.
