Hung-Yu Huang

Hung-Yu Huang holds a master’s degree in Applied Arts from Tainan National University of the Arts. Huang has been a resident artist in Baltimore Clayworks in the U.S in 2015 and was also recommended by Ministry of Culture, Taiwan (R.O.C.) to European Ceramic Workcentre (EKWC) in the Netherlands in 2018. In 2019, she established her studio, “Tu Xing” in Taiwan.

The important exhibition experience of Huang includes 2017 Contemporary Ceramic Art in Asia in Japan, 2019 Taiwan Young Pottery Artist Award & Biennale; “Solo Show” in Baltimore Clayworks, U.S.A (2016), solo exhibition “Menu” (2018), and “Daily Routine” (2019) in Taiwan. Her artworks have won the 2015 Taiwan Golden Ceramics Awards bronze award and were also selected into the 2019 Taiwan Young Pottery Artist Award & Biennale.
