Wang Te-he earned his master's degree from Tunghai University Department of Fine Arts. He was a teacher of art and director of academic affairs in National Chiayi Senior High School. Now, he is the chairman of Fine Art Association of Chiayi and a lecturer in Tainan University of Technology.
He had the residency experiences in Art Site of Chiayi Railway Warehouse, Railway Warehouse No. 20 in Taichung, Taiwan and Headlands Center for the Arts in California, USA. His works are collected by National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.

The travel and residency program I had participated in the United States was sponsored by the Council for Cultural Affairs and the Asian Cultural Council. Detailed schedule included an artist residency program at Headland Center for the Arts for 3 months, and a period of traveling in New York for 2 months.

Headland Center for the Arts near San Francisco had been rehabilitated from an old navy base in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. It has a beautiful view and a comfortable living situation, and is well-equipped with work studios, cafeteria, residential spaces, and etc. There were artists from the Bay Area, from out-of-state, and from other countries residing at the arts center. Cars were provided for the artists not from neighboring towns, and I was able to drive to museums, movie theaters, bookstores, and other places near the university town of University of California, Berkley.

During my 2 months’ travels, I visited galleries and museums in New York City, Chicago, and Washington D.C. I had also participated in many different types of art activities in these places.
